Weather conditions | July and August were particularly hot and dry, preceded in May and June by abundant but never excessive rains that gave the vines room to grow. New rainfall in September accompanied a slow and late ripening such as had not been seen in years, with full ripening in the first decade of October. Grapes for white wine were harvested towards the 20th of September. | |

Production area S. Angelo in Colle, Montalcino (SI) – Hilly soils at an altitude of about 300 on the sea level, facing west. Weather conditions A warm spring favored an early bud break of about a week. Seasonal temperatures higher than average and low rainfall accompanied the vineyard until July. The grapes developed small and sparse, and then rebalanced with rains in late July-August. They reached in advance good ripeness, also thanks to good daily temperature fluctuations. Variety Trebbiano Toscano and Verdea Harvest Thorough selection of the more mature, non-wilted grapes in the vineyard. The yield was about 7 tons per hectare. Pressing Soft with manual press (first pressing juice). Vinification Spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks without temperature control for 1-2 days, then in acacia barrels with stirring of the fine lees (bâtonnage) for about 6 months. This wine is available in: Standard bottles (0,75 litres)
